The Foundations Portland has teamed up with Lithgow City Council to bring you a night time event to officially launch the Lithglow 2019 festival.
The Fire & Ice night will be held in the historic Powerhouse at the Foundations, transforming an old industrial space into a world class event venue.
The evening includes a mind bending array of entertainment, arrival drinks and canapes and a full grazing style meal. This is an event you do not want to miss.
Please feel free to dress in your favourite FIRE or ICE inspired costume to really get into the theme of the night!

About the Site
AWJ acquired the former Portland Cement Works site in 2014. The heritage buildings are undergoing redevelopment as an arts and cultural precinct as part of the Stage 1 redevelopment.
There are monthly markets, events and pop-up galleries and museums planned throughout 2019. The venue is also available for hire as an events space for weddings or large scale events.
Accomodation options
There are a number of accomodation options in the area. Including Air BnB options, Motels at Wallerawang and Lithgow.

There is also the option of a coach transfer from accomodation to the site and back so you can enjoy the night fully and safely. Cost $10 per person

The Lithglow festival continues on Saturday night at Lithgow's Historic Blast Furnace, with a lights and laser display - click here for details
Then from 8pm, the Powerhouse at The Foundations will be showing projections of the old cement works operations with a light show, culminating with an effigy burning and bonfire on site from 8:30pm.
