Dine Around Held Oct. 29

Several Bowen grads played host for current students in dine-around sessions Oct. 29.

This program connects students with alumni in a particular area of practice. Alumni board members Scotty Shively and Khayyam Eddings recruited graduates for the program; those who volunteered included:

  • Scotty Shively, ‘81
  • Scott Schallhorn, ‘88
  • Colette Honorable, ‘95
  • Judge Mark Leverett, ‘95
  • Tijuana Byrd, ‘96
  • Jennifer Pierce, ‘01
  • Khayyam Eddings, ‘01
  • Cesar Caballero, ‘03
  • Cory Childs, ‘08
  • Melissa Bandy, ‘11
  • Glenn Borkowski
  • Judge Brian Miller

Almost 30 students took advantage of these sessions.

Dine arounds are a great opportunity to pass along some of your knowledge, share your career path, and support one of Bowen’s core values – professionalism.

If you haven’t been a part of this program, volunteer today by calling the Bowen Alumni and Development Office at 501.324.9967. The next dine-around luncheon is scheduled for Feb. 25.

Alumni Happy Hour

The Moffitt family enjoys happy hour.

Oct. 25, Bowen's young alumni gathered at Dugan's Pub to catch up and network. Over 40 alumni attended the event. Grads also updated their contact information so they'll have the latest information from the Alumni Association on 2013 events.

Visit Facebook to see all the photos from the evening.

Luncheon Funds Scholarships

The Annual Alumni Scholarship Luncheon held in September netted $32,000 to endow new Trial Advocacy Scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded to students who are selected to represent the law school in trial competitions.

Thanks to all the alumni who supported this event. We are looking forward to the 2013 luncheon planned for Oct. 18 at the Doubletree.
