New lab facilities in Hagalund - three questions to David Johansson

David Johansson, Property Manager at Humlegården Fastigheter,  is in charge of the development of Hagalund  – an area close to the Solna campus of Karolinska Institutet. What is Open Lab?

Open Lab is the result of a collaboration between four major universities in Stockholm as well as the city of Stockholm, Stockholm County Council and the County Administrative Board.

Health Hack Day

Last weekend the second edition of Health Hack Day took place in Victoria Tower overlooking Kista, Sweden's equivalent of Silicon Valley. 70 participants in 22 teams used their knowledge in modern technology and science to develop novel solutions for health and wellness.

New opportunities for existing drugs

Uppsala BIO, in collaboration with Roche, opens a new BIO-X® call for solutions with the aim of improving or finding new opportunities for existing drugs. 

This year, BIO-X® invites you to submit a proposal for projects suggesting new opportunities for existing drugs to provide further benefits to patients, healthcare or society. The project could be a concept test for a new general solution that could be applied to more than one drug. Or it could be a new solution designed for a specific drug molecule.
