What is Open Lab?

“The way we usually tackle problems and suggest solutions is a result of the environment we are fostered in. At Open Lab, we see it as a strength when different disciplines and competences work together. Novel ideas are born from a process where different perspectives meet” – Ivar Björkman, Open Lab.

Open Lab is the result of a collaboration between four major universities in Stockholm as well as the city of Stockholm, Stockholm County Council and the County Administrative Board.

BIO-X® Call for proposal 2013

New opportunities for existing drugs

Uppsala BIO, in collaboration with Roche, opens a new BIO-X® call for solutions with the aim of improving or finding new opportunities for existing drugs.

This year, BIO-X® invites you to submit a proposal for projects suggesting new opportunities for existing drugs to provide further benefits to patients, healthcare or society. The project could be a concept test for a new general solution that could be applied to more than one drug. Or it could be a new solution designed for a specific drug molecule.
