FESTIVAL OPENING
This year the Fremantle Festival joins forces with the Blessing of the Fleet to open 15 days of activities and events across the port city. It will be a memorable opening with the Blessing of the Fleet parade leading down to the Fishing Boat Harbour, combined with a luscious Seafood Festival on the boardwalks followed by a spectacular fireworks display. |

WARDARNJI
A celebration of the Nyoongar people of Western Australia, featuring the very best of indigenous music, dance, art and entertainment. Come sample traditional foods, see performances of Shakespearian sonnets in the Nyoongar language and join in the corroboree. |

FESTIVALS, FAIRS AND FETES
Each year the community brings the Fremantle Festival to fruition by contributing to the program with over 106 different cultural events. As well as annual events such as the Coffee Festival, Children’s Fiesta, Jazz in the Park, and the festival finale, the Street Parade. |

EXHIBITIONS
This years festival has a strong visual arts component; including the Fremantle Arts Centre Print Awards, the Dust Off exhibition at the Moores Contemporary Art Gallery and Arts Hussle - Speed Dating for the Arts, a relaxed tour of the West End galleries. |

NORFOLK LANES
Fresh new musicians and bands keep emerging from the port city! Norfolk Lanes Youth Festival celebrates the latest wave of Fremantle talent. With an eclectic line-up this year - including dreamy pop, killer rock, electro, dub step and even some

CLASSICAL MUSIC PROGRAM
The Fremantle Town Hall has been a favourite venue for orchestras since the Fremantle Orchestral Society
was founded in 1887. This years classical music line-up includes performances by Fremantle Symphony Orchestra and WAYO in the town hall; and Opera Undressed performed at Victoria Hall. |

CETTE IMMENSE INTIMITE by RETOURAMONT - FRANCE
Cette Immense Intimite is a breathtaking aerial dance performed by one of Frances foremost aerial companies. Retouramont are renowned on the European festival circuit for their work engaging with architectural landscapes. |

BLACK BOX THEATRE
Black Box Theatre is an intimate theatre venue with local shows every Friday / Saturday / Sunday night throughout the festival -including the return of popular Fringe World shows such as Janey Does Stand-up and The Same Paige. |

POP UP SHOPS
Pop in to the Woolstores Shopping Centre and the Adelaide Street Plaza to see WA handmade designs, vintage clothes, art exhibitions and even a popcorn cinema; running for the duration of the festival.
