4th Grade eNews

We are jumping in to this last quarter! Can you believe it?  Don’t forget to spring forward an hour this Sunday.  Our days will be longer so that we can enjoy the sunshine for another hour.

• Bible: We will learn how to differentiate between real and false teachers- filling our mind with the truth of the Lord. 1 John 4:2 "This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.”
• Spelling – Unit 26: untie, unhappy, recover, preschool, unlock, prepay, uncover, rewrite, reread, unfair, reheat, preheat, unpack, rebuild, pretest, unlucky, preview, unsafe, review, recheck
• Language: Reviewing patterns 1 and 2, Object pronouns
• Reading:   Perspective Novels: testing on  Tuesday and Thursday
• Math – Chapter 14: 2 Digit division- Test Thursday
• Social Studies – Chapter 13: The Civil War
• Science – wrapping up our study of water and oceans- test on Thursday

• March 15th: Field trip to the Prairie Grove Battlefield
• March 16th: Judging for the Speech Meet contestants
• March 16th: Drop in Parent Teacher Conferences 3:30-5:30
• March 17th:  No school
• March 20-24th: Spring Break - No school
• March 30th: National Pencil Day- career day (dress up in the career uniform you choose)
• April  3-7th: Terra Nova Testing
