From the Director's Chair

Fall is definitely in the air, not only by the changing temps and falling leaves, but by the annual excitement of the Cardinals in the playoffs.  I lived in KC during the I-70 series & was thinking how much fun it would be to repeat that series again! (with a different ending of course.)   While we are hot with World Series fever, the cooler temperatures remind us of the holiday season that will be inching towards us ever so quickly.  Parties, late nights & crazy schedules try to interfere with our workouts & tennis times, but with a little discipline mixed in with the fear of few additional pounds, I am confident trips to the club will be frequent & productive.  Taking care of your fitness & wellness needs is of course our primary (and fun!) focus, but as with any business the mundane paperwork & computer entry tasks (the sitting down stuff) are important also.  As you know, we have gone to a third party billing company, Paramount Acceptance of Utah.  Since the Eastern European hacking network has made us all wary of credit card fraud (thanks guys, how about doing some good with those brains!) our focus & goal was to provide the utmost security for our members’ accounts.  With any new software system, we have had a few challenges but are working through them.  As Paramount tells us, we are a unique club with many offerings to our members which adds an additional layer to the accounting systems.  With the new secure system in place, we are required to have your accounts paid in full each month; in others words we won’t be able to have accounts carry a balance from month to month.  Your safety and security as well as the best in fitness and tennis will always be our primary focus.  We appreciate your understanding, your loyalty and good Cardinals karma!

Yours in fitness and wellness,
Laurel
