March 24: Dunlap Pointe and Patina Mountain Preserve Grand Opening

You're invited to join Native American Connections for the grand opening of their Patina Mountain Preserve Wellness Center and Dunlap Point Housing Community. 

Dunlap Pointe is a 54-unit permanent supportive housing community designed to serve chronically homeless persons including a focus on veterans. Situated on the edge of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, this secured community is accessed through a single point of entry. As one part of a two-part campus, Dunlap Pointe is adjacent to Patina Mountain Preserve, a 55-bed congregate living community. Together, these developments will create a safe and secure environment with rich and holistic supportive services, using best practices from NAC’s 45+ year history serving the residents of Phoenix.

LISC, our affiliates and our partners have been supporting this unique project since the beginning. LISC provided a $2.3 million loan for the acquisition of the site, National Equity Fund invested $9.5 million in LIHTC equity, and New Markets Support Company invested $5.5 million from the Healthy Futures Fund for the construction and permanent financing of the Patina Mountain Preserve Wellness Center. Arizona Community Foundation provided $100,000 from the Affordable Housing Pre-Development Loan Fund and $1.5 million for the wellness center from their Community Impact Loan Fund. We're excited to see such a special project come to fruition.
