Step Into Dance's got talent...

Step into Dance has shown us some serious talent and a whole lot of energy over the last two months! Ten 'borough' events spanning London and Essex have featured a host of brilliant performances, from Camden School for Girls' exuberant Singin' in the Rain dance (pictured) to an amazing martial arts-inspired piece by St Matthew Academy.

Watch St Matthew Academy in action!

The final event on the Step into Dance 2012/13 calendar is Step LIVE! 2013. Taking place at London's top dance venue Sadler's Wells on Sunday 14th July, it promises to be a cracker!

Graduation for Achievers Network!

On 26th April, our very first cohort of Achievers Network members graduated from an 18-month programme of personal development and leadership training. At the special ceremony hosted by JP Morgan, the 23 members looked back over their time together and celebrated with smiles, speeches and some home-grown music!

One of the graduates, Rosie May Hudson-Edmonds, said being part of the network had helped her to focus her goals. A talented singer, she's currently at the BRIT School - and is well on the way to completing her first album!

Free Educational Visits for schools and youth organisations

Our new Educational Visits programme is proving popular!

With the help of an Educational Visit grant, St Martin in the Fields High School in Lambeth recently took 59 students to the Tate Modern. Our grant paid for the Year 8 pupils to see an exhibition of works by Roy Lichtenstein, a 21st century American pop artist.

Schools and youth organisations running our Achievement Award Scheme can apply for up to £300 towards a trip with a clear educational benefit.
