Barnard College Construction Update - March 16, 2016

Dear Neighbor,

We will be working with the City’s Department of Environmental Protection tomorrow (Thursday) to replace a valve on the city-owned water line that runs down Claremont Avenue. The work should run from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  A portion of Claremont just south of 119th Street will be blocked, but the road will remain open and flagmen will help direct traffic. We expect the work to be completed tomorrow afternoon, but it’s possible work might have to continue on Friday should we run into any delays.

The Department of Environmental Protection is responsible for notifying residents if their water use will be impacted, but we did want to let you know that the work is scheduled.  If you have questions or need to report an issue, please call the DEP at 311.
