Using a proven forecasting model, we combine highly accurate weather data with yield data from the remote monitoring of PV systems. New Messaging System: 

meteocontrol has developed a new messaging system for the VCOM. You can use it to display important information for your users.

Administrators have the option of creating messages that are displayed to all users when logging in.
Messages that have been marked as read can be viewed in the VCOM footer under the menu item Help/Messages.

New Standard User Group:

The response to the VCOM standard user group introduced in December has been tremendous so we have set up another user group.

The group Customer will be renamed Technical Customer starting with the April release. The users in this group continue to have access to the system configuration.

The group Customer has restricted access rights. Users in this group are able to retrieve all information about the systems, including for example, the diagrams in the evaluation section, but they do not have access to the system configuration.

New Password Guidelines:

The security of your data is our very highest priority. This is why we updated our password guidelines in our last release. We listened to your requests and ideas and further simplified the form. Thank you for the feedback!

In the March 21 release, you as a user are asked to change your password if it does not comply with the latest guidelines: The passwords for our portals must have a minimum length of 10 characters.

Trade Fairs and Conferences

You will find meteocontrol at the world’s most important photovoltaic trade fairs and conferences. We recently attended the 2017 Solar Asset Management North America show in San Francisco, Ca,  the 2017 Solar Show Africa, and the 2017 Solarex Istanbul trade fairs.

We were able to connect in person with customers from across the world. Thank you to all the new customers and long term partners for the rewarding and successful talks we had at the shows!
