Dear Friend

It has long been an ambition of mine to get social enterprises together in a room with the investors who have backed them. So often they are 'protected' or 'insulated' from one another by artificial structures and processes. Investors have money to deploy, social enterprises know how to put it to work well.  Helping each to understand the other more fully is very much a part of Resonance's role.  It leads to a better sense of sharing the journey - together we really can Profit through Purpose!

Last month this ambition became a reality as we hosted our Annual Portfolio Marketplace for the Bristol Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR) Fund, where we launched the Fund's first Social Impact Report.

We continue to do quarterly investment closes in the Fund and there's still a few days left to join in the latest investment round. Invest in Bristol.

Also, it is with great pleasure that we welcome Richard Frost to our team. A true social entrepreneur himself, co-founder of the very amazing charity Motivation, Richard has gone from being a client, to a friend and now, a colleague. Social Entrepreneurs who have themselves been through raising and repaying investment always provide the most valuable support to other Social Entrepreneurs embarking on that same journey.  I am hugely excited about the next phase our Ventures team has ahead of it under Richard's leadership.

Best regards

Daniel
