As managers and employees are wrapping up FY15 performance assessments, THCS is working with Technology to plan the new FY16 performance management process for staff. Using Workday, we are creating a new year-round performance management model that encourages more frequent check-ins between staff and their managers. This model includes:
- Goal-setting including consistent people management goals on setting expectations, delivering feedback and timely performance reviews;
- An optional mid-year check-in in the winter;
- A final performance assessment in the summer.
- Managers and employees will also have access to make updates to goals throughout the year to facilitate tracking progress.
THCS will schedule training sessions late fall for employees and managers, focusing on the first phase of the performance management cycle, goal-setting. These trainings will include coaching on how to develop effective goals with utilizing Workday to track these goals. A schedule of training sessions is forthcoming. We highly encourage all staff and their managers to attend one of these training sessions.
