Workshops The Music & Arts School is happy to announce its support of Music from Scratch, a FREE MUSIC CREATION WORKSHOP FOR YOUTH taking place in downtown Toronto JULY 10th to JULY 14th Hosted by the Canadian Music Centre (CMC) and the CONTACT Contemporary Music Ensemble, Music From Scratch is a FREE week-long music creation workshop for youth aged 18 to 25. Participants engage in creative music and sound-based exercises leading to the performance of a series of ORIGINAL collaborative sound works. Music From Scratch helps participants develop new skills and confidence to take risks both as listeners and creators. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Just a willingness to learn and explore your own inner creativity. Wishing all fathers a fun and memorable Father's Day on Sunday, June 18! Art in Grange Park Henry Moore’s iconic, eight-tonne sculpture, Large Two Forms which has lived on the corner of McCaul and Dundas Streets since 1974, took a cruise down the street last weekend to its new home in Grange Park. Kingsway Community Life Centre and Alexandra Park Community Centre (APCC) want to invite you to a Community Movie Night featuring Disney's Moana!
