Call for proposals: Online trainers for the British Council Researcher Connect programme

The British Council invites requests for proposals from trainers with international experience in online training to deliver the Researcher Connect programme. 

Researcher Connect trainers should possess relevant online training experience, preferably acquired in an academic/international context. Trainers should also hold previous experience of delivering training in the UK within the research sector/environment.

Call for UK consultants to develop planning tools and a framework for Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green Economic (BCG) Model sectors

The British Council Thailand is seeking a consultant to draw upon successful UK planning models, including foresight approaches to develop planning tools and frameworks for Thailand’s four Bio-Circular-Green Economic (BCG) sectors: Food and Agriculture, Health and Wellbeing, Environment, Tourism, and others BCG related industries.

These tools are to be deployed through workshops for policymakers, universities and research institutes to build foresight skills.

Call for proposals: Blavatnik Cambridge Postdoctoral Fellowships

The British Council's Blavatnik Cambridge Postdoctoral Fellowship programme enables Israeli scientists of outstanding ability to pursue their research at the University of Cambridge, while fostering a scholarly exchange and greater understanding between researchers in Britain and in Israel.

The call is open to residents of Israel seeking to undertake their first postdoctoral funding in the fields of life sciences, physical sciences and engineering at the University of Cambridge. Fellows will receive an annual stipend of £30,000.
