Bringing Smiles to Boise Visitors

Boise will be celebrating the ground troops of hospitality and tourism this month, and we hope you’ll join us for a lively and inspiring night at the Recognition Of Service Excellence, or ROSE Awards, on April 16. Boise’s ROSE Awards is this city’s opportunity to say thank you to the bartenders, housekeepers and taxi drivers, among others, who make Boise so popular with visitors. But no matter who wins the final award, everyone (this means you) are welcome to join us at JUMP in Boise’s downtown to celebrate the nominees and the eventual winners. The tone will be set by the one-of-a-kind emcee, Tim Johnstone from 94.9 FM The River, who will once again play host. This year the event will spotlight Pat Rice, Executive Director of The Centre, who will be receiving the Spirit of Hospitality Award, to celebrate his successful tenure leading Boise’s primary event hosting venue. The event is truly open to anyone who wants to say ‘thanks’ to Boise’s hardworking ambassadors. Join us! Buy tickets here: www.boise.org/rose-awards

Calling Craft Beer Lovers

Boise has been a beer lover’s worst-kept secret for years. And now that spring is here, it’s a great time of year to gather with friends for Idaho Craft Beer Month, brought to you by brewers and those who love them. Celebrate with beer dinners, pairing events and tap takeovers designed to showcase the delicious fermentation Idaho brewers craft each year. If you’re on social media, tag your photos of Idaho beer with #PintsUpIdaho as you celebrate, so others can join the fun. Go here to find out more about events scheduled to commemorate Idaho’s proud brewing industry.
