1700-2300 MHz Discussion DocumentRSM is seeking public comment on our proposals for select portions ("sub-bands") of the 1700-2300 MHz band whose management rights (MR) expire on 31 March 2021. To achieve this RSM published a discussion document at the end of February 2020. Radio Spectrum Management is seeking expressions of interest in this commercial FM licence, closing 5pm on 27 March 2020. Following this, a decision will be made regarding if the licence can be allocated by direct sale or by a competitive allocation process. Fixed Service bands in New Zealand (PIB 22) UpdatedPIB 22 has been updated to reflect changes in availability of additional 500 MHz and 750 MHz channels in the 80 GHz band. New Radio Microphone Devices General User Spectrum LicencesThe current Radio Microphone Devices General User Spectrum Licences (GUSL) 222921 and 222922 will expire on 11 March 2020. New Radio Microphone Devices GUSL licence number 272800 and 272801 will commence on 12 March 2020.
