Own Something Remarkable
— 118 Mount Street

After more than 30 years in North Sydney, Zurich Insurance is reconfirming its commitment to the area with a new 20,000sqm headquarters at 118 Mount Street. With breathtaking views across Sydney Harbour, and an iconic fjmt design, 118 Mount Street will be a distinctive new landmark on the North Sydney skyline. 118 Mount Street represents a rare opportunity to own something remarkable. Thursday has delivered a marketing campaign for the sale of the building, which includes an Information Memorandum (IM), full page advertising appearing in the Australian Financial Review and an Electronic Digital Media (eDM) template. 118 Mount Street is available on a development pre-sale basis via EOI closing 3pm (AEDT), Tuesday 30 October. Please contact the selling agents Cushman & Wakefield for more information.

AGDA Design Awards 2018
— Boronia Kitchen nominated

One of our favourite branding projects this year has been nominated for a prestigious AGDA Design Award in the much coveted ‘Identity’ category. Designing the Boronia Kitchen brand was a labour of love that allowed us to collaborate with an artist based in New York, an international paper merchant, an interstate printer, a PR queen, a celebrity chef and a leading Sydney restaurateur. Working with talented people is always a recipe for success. The winners are announced in Melbourne, on Saturday 10 November.

The Royal Albert Hotel
— Show us your doodles

We’ve realised a long-standing studio goal last month by working with one of Sydney’s best pubs (and our local), the Royal Albert Hotel, or the ‘Happy Place’ as we like to call it. We developed an awareness campaign that encouraged patrons to illustrate on the back of blank coasters and upload the artwork to Instagram using the handle #showusyourdoodles. To inspire people to doodle, we illustrated a series of coasters with some of the unmistakable features that make the Royal Albert Hotel a craft beer institution, and an unforgettable experience (well, unless you’ve had one too many).

New Designer
— Introducing Georgia Martin

We’re delighted to have the opportunity to work with talented designer Georgia Martin. Having worked with some of the country’s leading design firms, Georgia brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our growing studio. Georgia will be responsible for identity design, corporate literature and digital media in her new role with us. We’re confident friends of Thursday will like Georgia as much as we do.
