Barnard College Update - Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016

Dear Claremont resident:

As we move into the dog days of summer, we continue to make significant progress on the rock excavation and thankfully, haven’t lost any days due to bad weather. We still expect to finish this phase around the end of August and then start working on the foundations for the new building. At this point, we anticipate the foundation work will continue throughout the fall and the steel superstructure will start going up around the end of the year. We will be able to share more specific dates as we move through the fall.

Construction Drop-in Hours

While we hope these email updates are helpful in keeping you up-to-date on the project, we’d also like to invite you to join us for construction drop-in hours on Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. - noon and from 4 - 5 p.m. in Mehler Parlor in the lobby of Elliott Hall (49 Claremont).  We’ll have members of our team available to answer your questions and share the schematic drawings that show the next phases of the project.

Our schedule continues to be weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
