Attention Alien Insurers
Annual Filing Due June 30th
Reminder, the June 30th alien insurers filing deadline is quickly approaching. Please file all premium-bearing transactions with an effective date in 2016 with our office no later than June 30, 2017.
Failure to submit a premium submission to our office may result in a fine or penalty by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. Click here for more information including filing due dates and criteria.

1Q17 Insurer Activity
In the first quarter 2017 W.R. Berkley Europe A.G. was added to the NAIC's Alien Insurer IID listing.
Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) SE changed their name to Great Lakes Insurance SE.
4Q16 Insurer Activity
In the fourth quarter 2016 CM Vantage Specialty Insurance Company, NAIC #15872 was added to Florida as a federally authorized foreign insurer.
Helvetia Swiss Insurance Company in Liechtenstein, Ltd. and The Hanover Atlantic Insurance Company, Ltd. were added to the NAIC’s Alien Insurer IID listing.
RenaissanceRe Specialty Risks Ltd. was removed from the NAIC’s Alien Insurer IID listing.
Effective December 31, 2016 Associated International Insurance Company, NAIC # 27189 has merged with its affiliate Evanston Insurance Company, NAIC # 35378. Associated will no longer be writing business. The corrections have been made to RAPID’s insurer manager.
The Premium Reconciliation team would like to thank all of the insurers for their quick responses in providing documentation per our email requests. With your help our team was able to locate 10.8% more unreported premium in 2016 as compared to 2015.
