Upcoming Week

  • Math: students will practice numbers to 100 and review money, addition, and fractions

  • March 10th: Celebration book orders due
  • March 16th: Student led Conferences 3:30-5:30
  • March 17th: No school start of Spring Break
  • March 20th-24th: Spring Break; No school
  • March 27th: Mini Field Trip to the SpGD. Campus
  • March 30th: Career day- Dress up!
  • March 30th: Final try-outs for Poem/speech Meet
  • March 31st:  Show and Tell
  • April 3rd-7th: Tera Nova Testing Week

Reminders

  • Spring Pictures are Wednesday! If you have not returned your picture forms, please do so by Wednesday.  Students may dress-up for spring pictures or may wear normal dress-code.
  • The 16th is Student Led Parent/Teacher Conferences. Parents and students can drop in from 3:30-5:30 to pick up report cards and conference.
  • There is no school on Friday, March 17th!
  • Monday, March 27th- Students need to wear their purple Filed trip shirt to school. We will travel to the Springdale Campus for a “Genesis” Program. Students need to arrive by no later than 8:00. We will be leaving shortly after the tardy bell. 
  • Please be working on our Easter Poem at home. Kindergarten Try-outs for reciting the poem will be March 28th. The Top three girls and the top three boys from Kindergarten that memorize the poem will go to the final try-outs on March 30th. The top boy and top girl will recite our poem during our Easter Chapel Performance on April 13th.
  • Thursday, March 30th- students may dress up as what they want to be when they grow up!
  • Literacy: Students will learn common blends and digraphs. Students will write about small moments. Students will sequence stories, learn vocabulary, and infer when reading. Students will be reading books with ‘sneaky e” and Two Vowels.
