VALUE VINO

And now for this week's Value Vino.  I've found some fantastic offers this week so scoop them up before they're gone.

Andrew Peace Shiraz 2018 (13.5%) £5.50 Co-op. Cherry bonanza! Sweet, ripe and tangy as a bramble on a trampoline.

Devil’s Creek Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019 (13.5%) £7.99 mix six Majestic. Lovely white for a sunny sip, this is tropical, fragrant and slices delightfully through your thirst like a ray through the day.

Villa Blanche Pinot Noir 2018 (13%) £6.74 on offer Waitrose. Serious wine this - firm Pinot with robust texture and gleaming sheen. At the usual price of £8.99 is a steal. For £6.74 it’s sensational. Brill with burgers, brill all round.

Tesco Finest Vintage Cava 2016 (12%) £9. A reserva Cava for under a tenner, aged for a minimum of fifteen months, this is the whole nine yards.  Toasty aromas and high voltage flavours as vibrant as an apple that’s plugged into a pylon. Kick off the weekend early.

Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Côtes du Rhône Villages 2017 (13.5%) £7. Down from £8.25 from a decent vintage, this peppery red is as deep and rich as a bass guitar playing to a golden beat. Barbecue vino sorted.

Have a lovely week and keep on rocking!
