Vento's Official Launch of the Next Generation WINDCATCHER® Natural Ventilation System

When there are a range of options for cooling buildings and creating internal comfort, those systems with traits best suited to the current environment will survive and pass on their superior genes to the next generation.

Some of the superior, fully patented genes of the next generation WINDCATCHER® include:

  • Computer generated aerodynamic design delivering significantly higher ventilation rates per system
  • ACTIVLOUVRE® modulating aerofoil louvre technology providing greater ventilation
    control and preventing weather ingress
  • Patented wings on corner of WINDCATCHER® maximising air capture and air flow control
  • Made from fully recyclable materials with three standard colours
  • Composite integrated upstand reduces on-site difficulties and install times
  • Mass production methods utilized reduces unit cost, allowing us to provide a more advanced product at a lower price
  • Reduced weight of terminal
  • Greater air tightness
  • Integrated solar panel on top and sides of capping removing any location restrictions
  • UV maximised for colour longevity and stability in the Australasian climate

Guess what?

Vento are the Sole Distributors of these systems outside of the UK. So if you would like to know more about this new generation WINDCATCHER® come to designEX or call us on +61 2 8338 9755.

Know that you are delivering low maintenance, energy efficient designs within the built environment

Now architects and consultants can easily drag and drop WINDCATCHER® systems from a product library/ catalogue onto an IES building model constructed within the 3D environment.

The performance and energy savings can then be assessed in an open and transparent process demonstrating the potential and capabilities of natural and hybrid ventilation schemes.

Modelling this type of wind tower natural ventilation system is no longer time consuming and complicated with building performance analysis specialist IES and Monodraught teaming up to produce the new Windcatcher Performance Component for the IESVE (Virtual Environment).

This component contains true 3D representations of the WINDCATCHER® performance characteristics along with its shape, texture, colour and other visual characteristics already assigned greatly enhancing user operation and ease of design.

Come and see IESVE WINDCATCHER® Modelling Software on display at Stand 1032 at designEX.

More information to follow in coming editions of Vento's e-newsletters.
