2015 Publications and Wall Decor

Welcome to Alan Blaustein Photography. I am very pleased to present our new 2015 projects featuring: Publications, Wall Decor, Stock Photography, Image Licensing and Commercial Photography.

I would like to take this opportunity to reach out and introduce my new photography projects and inform you and your company that my photography is now available for any upcoming publishing, image licensing, wall decor or other project opportunities that would be suitable for my variety and style of imagery. My Subject matter topic’s range from Botanical, Coastal, Cafes, Still Life, Landscape, Architecture and European Travel.

New 2015 Project Releases

This year I have been busy photographing almost every morning taking advantage of the dramatic seasonal lighting conditions and lush San Fransisco bay area landscapes. These images are showcased in the 2015 New Releases post.

We are also pleased to debut a variety of new subject matter in the New European Collection and the New Botanical Images image posts. Most of the new image selections are available in a cross section of styles and formats: panoramic, rectangular, square and vertical image sizes featuring Color, Sepia Tone and Black & White image tonalities.

Publications

For 2015 we have 6 calendar releases published, collaborating with publishers in the USA and Europe. Featured below are a variety of the 2015 calendar releases.

Debuted are the 2015 USA Brushdance publishing wall calendar releases, Italia and, Paris.The new Brushdance 2015 publications Italia features Alan’s hand painted photography and Paris showcases Alan’s classic sepia tone photographs.

The 2015 German Calendar releases: Italia (vertical panoramic) and Cafes & Bars, both are popular Korsch Verlag publication releases repeated for the seventh consecutive year. As well as the debut release of the Paris 2015 Calendar.

Italia 2015 calendar features classic Italian vistas photographed using large format film in Alan’s unique vertical panoramic style. Cafes & Bars 2015 highlights traditional european style cafes and bars featuring interior and exterior photography from Alan’s recent travel excursions and cafe journeys. Paris 2015 showcases classic Parisian architecture, landmarks, bistros, parks and gardens. Hidden Tuscany is a 2015 book release by St Martins Press, NYC.

Italia 2015

"This year’s photo shoot in Italia worked out quite well and was highlighted by unusual and dramatic weather conditions for changing season. At every location daily there were brief rain storms. In retrospect it was excellent for the photography. The pavement and ground was often glowing with intense sky’s present. I had spent many hours waiting in doorways, cafes and in churches dodging the stormy weather."

The new 2015 Italian Collection of images are available as Color, B/W or Sepia tone imagery displayed in panoramic vertical and panoramic horizontal, square and rectangular formats. In addition to my new images website our main website www.alanblaustein.com also has a wide variety of image selections with over 5000 images available to view in the stock photography image library. This can be a wonderful resource for publishing and wall decor projects and when searching for a particular subject, location or specific type of imagery.

Recent Wall Decor Projects

During the past decade I have been diligently exploring and photographing a wide variety of imagery: landscapes, architecture, still life, coastal and sea shells, cafes, tress and portraits.

Chronicling my European journeys over the years I have accumulated several collections of photography that I continuously add to my stock photography image library and my new images website which both resources are a great resource for selecting artwork.

Peninsula Hotel Paris, France

The pair of photographs above were recently commissioned for the newly renovated guest suites at the Peninsula Hotel Paris, France.

The Cypress trees were photographed during one of Alan’s many Italia photo shoots to the Val d’Orca, Region of Tuscany and the Courtyard In Venezia captured while on location in the Venice. The Courtyard In Venezia has been one of Alan Blaustein Photography’s best selling images and is also on display at the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas and many other art collections worldwide.

The Coastal Still Life photographs above were commissioned in 2015 by the Faulkner Locke Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia for the wall decor in the new guest rooms at the Sanderling Resort and SPA, North Carolina. Ten large scale vertical panoramic images were commissioned for the lobby and open public space areas by Alexander Compagno Architecture, NYC for the newly renovated Luxury Loft apartments in Brooklyn, New York.

Studio Updates

In 2015 we just launched an “in studio” small to large scale archival pigment printing service for our wall decor print orders to accompany our line of traditional darkroom, hand crafted limited edition photographic prints.

We are pleased to have a new ultra large format printer that can accommodate all custom print size needs from small to large scale. The photographs are printed on a heavy weight 100% cotton fiber German paper in addition to Canvas and other paper surfaces. Also we are now offering a special matt semi matt economy paper as an option for cost effective wall decor concerns.

Workshops

Photographers Alan Blaustein and Jim Kahnweiler invite you to share their enthusiasm for the San Francisco Bay Area and passion for photography during an intensive six day, small group photography workshop. The scheduled workshop dates are from October 4th - 10th 2015.

Expand your vision with field trips to dramatic locations; insightful demonstrations; personalized instruction; location lighting, Photoshop, Lightroom demonstrations and plug-ins such as Topaz Labs; group discussions; image reviews; and one-on-one instruction.
