Homecoming is always a special time on a college campus in which students, families, and alumni come back to visit campus. Great annual events greeted visitors such as: Homecoming Parade, Alumni Awards Ceremony, Parent of the Year, Homecoming King and Queen, the Homecoming football game and more. Check out a few photo highlights and then follow the links for more photos!
The Parent of the Year Award, now in its eighth year, lets students recognize their parents for the help and support they've given throughout the students' lives. UofL students were encouraged to nominate a family member. Each nominee received a small plaque and a rolled scroll that included his or her child's nomination letter. At the end of the ceremony the 2015 winner, Beth McPheron was honored.

The campus will shut down for the Thanksgiving Holiday break from November 25 - 29. The Thanksgiving Holiday adds much-needed relief for students from the academic demands this month. November may be stressful, but the end of the semester is in sight. The last day of classes is December 7 and therefore follows quickly after the Thanksgiving break.
