Adviser's View: Prom Tips and Tricks

I have only been involved with the prom at my school for four years, by default, since it became ineffective for different staff members to do the event each year. Our admin decided that student council would take it on to help with consistency and structure. Now remember, I teach at a mega high school and we seat 650+, however, these ideas can be applied to work at any prom, any school regardless of size. My main piece of advice is to utilize staff, not just as chaperones, but also to help communicate information. Read more here!

We are excited to announce that summer camp registration is now open!

The lessons taught during this powerful week are not exclusive to student councils and honor societies, but rather, is open to all students grade 9-12 who are striving to increase their perspective and ability to lead. Read more here!



New for Middle School Students and Advisers - Summer Leadership Seminars

At MASC/MAHS Michigan Student Leadership, we are constantly evaluating our member benefits and services we provide. This summer, we are offering a new program for Middle level students to continue our mission in providing leadership training to promote student growth. Our Summer Leadership Seminars are exclusive to middle school students and advisers who want to grow their own leadership skills and programs. Read more here!

MASC/MAHS Michigan Student Leadership Summer Camp registration is open! Although hundreds of students are able to attend this event, unfortunately, hundreds more do not have the financial means to do so. We recognize that all students across Michigan can greatly benefits from the teaching and lessons of camp, and to help support the students of Michigan, MASC/MAHS Michigan Student Leadership provides scholarship opportunities to do so.
