We have learned a lot about spiders and insects this week – be sure and ask your child all about it!

Next Week

Bible – We will be studying in Numbers 12 about respect for authority, while we continue our study of Moses. This Friday, we will listen to all Ten Commandments. The students are doing great with their memorization!
Reading – Story Structure: Teacher’s Pet
Phonics – We will be working on consonant blends with r, l, & s - spin clap grade swim place last test skin drag glide just stage slip drive climb price
Grammar – Singular and plural nouns
Writing - Personal Narratives
Math – Place value, subtraction facts (please, work on facts at home) decoding number words, and counting by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s.

September 29th - Grandparent’s Day Program at 8:15am with Early Dismissal - No Extended Care
October 3rd - Field Trip to McGarrah farms in Pea Ridge, 9:00am-12:00pm - Students need a sack lunch and a water bottle.
October 9th - Flu shots - permission slips coming soon.
October 16th - No school for students - Parent/Teacher Conferences from 7:45-5:30pm.
October 20th - Homecoming Parties at 2:30-3:00pm - details to come later.
