We have finished our farm unit this week. It has been a learning experience to see where our food comes from. We will be visiting Farmland Adventures in October which will reinforce our learning from this unit. More on that later!

• Unit Study: Apples
• Show and Tell: Bring an apple ON MONDAY!
• Bible Verse: “Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wing.” - Psalm 17:8
• Bible: Moses
• Reading: We will review the letters and sight words we have learned so far and practice building and reading CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant).
• Math: Left and right, number recognition, number families, and writing number 5

• September 20 - Scholastic book orders due
• September 26 - Grandparents’ Day Program at 8:30am. This is NOT an early dismissal day, however if you want to check your child out to spend time with grandparents, you may as a half-day excused absence. Shiloh Connect will take place before the program at 8:00am. Come enjoy coffee and visit with Shiloh leadership!
• September 27th - We will travel to the Springdale campus to see their Grandparent’s Day program. Then we will come back to our campus to have early dismissal at 11:00am. No Extended Care.
