Imagine Energy reaches the Shortlisting Phase

Codema and Dublin City Council are delighted to announce that they have received 27 submissions for Imagine Energy, a one-of-a-kind competition to design a smart energy feature that will engage and educate citizens about renewable energy in a creative and innovative way.

Next Ace Partners Meeting in Dublin & Tipperary, Ireland.

The next Ace partners meeting will take place in Ireland from 8th-10th April 2013.  The meeting will kick off in Dublin with a half-day workshop based on ICT Capabilities for energy-smart cities, villages and regions.  We will then head for Co Tippearary where the Tipperary Energy Agency has organised a tour of the Community Windfarm in Templederry and the renowned eco-village in Cloughjordan.

‘New Business Models for Sustainable Energy’ Workshop a Great Success

The third Ace project meeting took place in October 2012 in the beautiful old town of Leuven, Belgium.  The first day was devoted to a workshop entitled ‘New Business Models for Sustainable Energy’ which was facilitated by the UK partner USEA.  The aim of the workshop was to gather information on the range of financial models currently used across North West Europe to deliver community sustainable energy projects and to discuss how transferable the different models are to the various partner regions.

Collective Methanisation in Basse-Normandie

French partner Les 7 Vents du Cotentin is actively working towards the development of a collective methanisation unit (a facility to produce energy from multiple sources of waste through the process of  anaerobic digestion) in one of the Basse-Normandie territories in France.
