There will be informational booths exhibiting local services and safety products, activities, and equipment from other agencies that serve the community. There will also be games for the kids, as well as giveaways. Everyone is invited to meet and greet their first responders, watch demonstrations of their work, and get a glimpse into their world. This is also a chance to inspect the equipment that keeps the community safe, such as Police motorcycles, patrol cars, K9s, drones, and fire trucks.
"Night Out is intended to heighten awareness of drugs, crime, and violence; generate support for local anticrime efforts; and send a message to criminals that drugs and crime will not be tolerated in Juno Beach," Foundation President, Tom Murphy, said.
The event is an opportunity to strengthen community spirit and the important police-public partnership that is all part of our Quality of Life in Juno Beach.
The event, sponsored by the Juno Beach Police Foundation, has always been an outstanding start to the new year and we anticipate this year's Night Out Against Crime meeting and exceeding the success of prior events!
Be sure to mark the date on your calendar now - Tuesday, January 24th, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Juno Beach Town Center.
