Wow!  What amazing gifts everyone received for Christmas and shared during show & tell.  These are great reminders of the best gift given on that very first Christmas, Jesus Christ.

• Unit Study: We will learn about the Four Seasons and how each is different.
• Show and Tell: Four Seasons poster (Look for a piece of paper in your child’s backpack to make a poster about the 4 different seasons.) 
• Bible: We will continue studying Christ’s life and ministry.
• Bible Verse: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
• Reading: We introduce compound words (ex: pigpen), as well as continue to review CVC words.
• Math: We will be working on writing numbers 40-59, identifying the number that comes after, and introduce number words for 1,2, and 3.

• January 20 - No School, Observing Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• January 23 - MLK Chapel in Worship Center @ 8:30 am
• January 23 - 100th Day of School (if there are no snow days before then)
• January 31- Color’s Day Pep Rally @ 2:45 pm
