Spring Has Arrived!

I can feel the heat of the sun's rays getting stronger everyday.  The earthy smell of new leaves on the trees, flowers emerging from the sun warmed soil and the heavy sent of pine as the sap rises in the trees on it's way to feed the new growth.  Spring has arrived and summer will soon follow on it's heels.  All these scents and sensations give us that heady, happy feeling as we anticipate all the summer fun ahead!

We've Added a Gem!

The Adobe House, a beautiful historic home in the West Glacier area, was orginally built and owned by Jack Holtermann.  Jack was well known for writing several books about Glacier National Park.  Cas Still and Andy Baxter acquired it a year ago and recently completed it's restoration and have added it to the portfolio of wonderful accommodations that we have to offer our guests. 

Jack had two adopted Navajo sons, which influenced the Southwestern architectural design of the home.  The adobe bricks used in the original construction were shipped in from Mexico.  During the renovation many of the materials used were 100% recycled or orginal to the home.  Cas & Andy kept and enhanced the Southwestern design by adding some very eclectic and interesting pieces.  Andy had two doors shipped in from Florida that started their life as doors in a Colonial House in Peru.  They framed them wilth glass and crafted them into a dining room table.  A warm and inviting feature of the living area is the Kiva style gas fireplace. The Adobe House, a truly unique and beautiful part of the jewel that is the Belton Chalet, in the Crown of the Continent that is Glacier National Park!

Summer at the Belton

The busy summer season is upon us and we look forward to meeting new friends and greeting old friends.  Join us on the deck and wave at the Amtrak passenger train as it passes by every evening....a Belton tradition.

The Taproom is open daily at 3 PM. Serving appetizers and sandwiches beginning at 3:30.  Enjoy live music every Saturday in the Taproom starting at 6 PM.  The Belton Grill Dining room begins service at 5 PM.
