The stresses and strains of modern life can leave many feeling down and depressed. But a group of ancient Roman philosophers have some lessons for how to be happy in the 21st century. Among these stoic wisdoms is the idea that while you can’t control many things that life throws at you, you can control how you choose to think about them.
Alzheimer’s disease is believed to be caused by a build up of plaques in the brain, yet drugs that target these plaques have all been ineffective. As a result, drugs companies are abandoning research in this area. Davide Bruno believes they are being too hasty.
