POETRY IN PERSON: SHANE RHODES

In celebration of the 2013 Brisbane Writers’ Festival, Aesop takes pleasure in inviting you to our Brisbane City signature store to absorb the verses of Arts Queensland Poet in Residence, Shane Rhodes.

The Canadian national’s oeuvre, which includes five published collections, has drawn international acclaim; he has received the Alberta Book Award, two Lampman Awards, and been editor of Arc Poetry Magazine since 2010. As part of his Poet in Residence role, the zealous advocate for the development of Canada’s literary culture will host workshops, readings and lectures, and partake of festivals nationally to share his poems and ideas.
