3rd Grade eNews

We had an Amazing day at the Amazeum!  We are so grateful to the Walmart Foundation for funding our field trip!

• Bible:  Galations 6:9 “So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.”
• Our story will be Paul’s journey to Rome.
• Spelling: Unit 30: Review: getting, where’d, storing, mommy, butter, puppet, daddy, what’ll, chasing, hopping, gallop, dizzy, using, stepped, what’ve, summer, funny, baking, dropped, we’ve
• Math: Multiplication times 2 or 3 digit factors with and without renaming
• Social Studies: Daniel Boone (Continued) and Noah Webster
• English: Chapter 9, Pronouns and Singular & Plural Nouns
• Reading:  Tall Tales  Skill: Figurative Language

• May 1st-  AR ends @ 3:30 p.m.
• May 11 &12th- 5th Grade Musical!!!
• May 18th- Graduation Day
• May 19th- No School!
• May 24th- Sword Drill
• May 25th - Awards Assembly in Worship Center @ 9:00 w/ early dismissal

• We are collecting Boxtops each month.  We will turn them in the last week of every month.  On Tuesday and Friday mornings, students can buy Chick-fil-a chicken biscuits before school from 7:30-8:00 a.m.
