If you have reason to come to campus …As fall semester gets underway, WSU Vancouver employees who can work from home, should work from home. If you have a reason to come to campus, be sure you have completed the WSU COVID-19 Safe Return to Work online training in advance of your planned visit. Also remember to attest before you arrive on campus at attestation.wsu.edu. An attestation is required each day you come to campus as are facial coverings and 6-foot distancing. Cougs help Cougs remain safe and healthy! Faculty, staff, students and visitors must attest before arriving on campus. While WSU Vancouver is not encouraging visitors at this time, some vendors do need to come to campus for business reasons. If you know a vendor is coming to campus, provide them with proper instruction in advance of their visit, and be sure when they arrive to check the email they received after successful attestation. Here is suggested email copy you may send vendors before they come to campus:
You can learn more about returning to campus, trainings, facial covering requirements and attestation by reading the Employee Gide to for Returning to a WSU Work Location and the COVID-19 Leave and Work FAQs. If you haven’t already, begin by taking the Intercultural Development Inventory pre-assessment to determine your current level of cultural awareness and to help you select the best workshops for you. Next, commit to at least two workshops a year. When you have completed at least 12 hours of workshops, including the IDI pre- and post-assessment debrief, you are eligible for the Building a Community of Equity Professional Development Certificate.
