VISCHER is ready for electronic notarisationDigitization is not leaving the Notary's office untouched. On 1 February 2018, the revised Ordinance of the Federal Council on public certification comes into force. Notarized documents in electronic form are valid throughout Switzerland and in international relationships. The notaries of our firm are all set up to produce notarial deeds in electronic form. This makes it possible to retain legally effective original receipts for notarized transactions in electronic form, without the need for paper copies. Even older documents, currently still kept in paper form, can be converted into electronic form for future storage. This can benefit, in particular, larger and international companies whose archives are exclusively in electronic form. The introduction of electronic notarization is just one of many milestones on our office's digitization path. We also support and accompany our clients in many other aspects of the challenges associated with digital transformation. In legal matters relating to data protection, electronic means of payment, digital communication, media, intellectual property rights, internet trading platforms and many more, we advise our clients regularly and they benefit from our extensive experience.
