Thanksgiving - Share Your Blessings

Thanksgiving - A Great Time to Focus on Our Blessings
We all know someone who is struggling - it may be with a loss of income, unpaid bills, a frightening medical prognosis, the death of a loved one, an unexpected move, or just a personally tough time. It may be a temporary setback - or a real game changer. It might be the experience of someone you love, or it might be your own. We all know that life is never lived without difficulty.  And we also know that through God’s grace, we can find many blessings as we navigate through these difficult times.

Thanksgiving – A Thankful Heart for What We Have Been Given
We know enough to be thankful for our families, for our friends, for our faith, and for the resilience we find in ourselves. And we know enough to try to be there for each other. We are not alone when we ask God to walk with us, and when we reach out to encourage or comfort others.

Thanksgiving - Recognize The Giver As Well As The Gift
As you look for opportunities to thank and encourage people in your life, you might think of Ecclesiastes, where King Solomon said, "By yourself you're unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three stranded rope isn't easily snapped."  When with a friend, my third strand is always Jesus. Gratitude and faith means we're never alone in our journey.

There Is A Candle In Every Soul….Go Light Your World

Wishing you and yours a blessed and meaningful Thanksgiving,

Kathy
