As an adviser, it is common to be overwhelmed with the work you have on your plate. And knowing that student council is a student-run organization, many of us try to make sure that it's our students who are doing the work. In fact, one person I've looked up to in this profession once said, "If you are doing your job right, you are making sure your students are the ones putting in more of the work because that's where the real learning happens for them - not because you did all of their work."
