What a great two weeks of rhyming! We will continue practicing this skill all year long, as it is very important for reading. Next week we will learn about different kinds of apples that God made and taste several varieties.

Also, thank you for helping your child bring Show and Tell each week…it is very helpful, especially now that we’re starting letters/sounds. Show and Tell is on Friday of every week.

Next Week

Bible Verse: “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.” Psalm 56:3
Bible: Joseph
Phonics/Reading: Letter and “hard” sound of Cc
Math: # 4 ABC Patterns
Unit: Apples
Show and Tell: Bring something that begins with the “hard” sound of C such as cow or camera.

Important Dates

September 28th: Grandparent’s Day Program in the Cross Church Sanctuary at 8:15am - After the program, grandparents are invited to visit our classroom. - Early Dismissal - No Extended Care.
October 4th: Cookie Dough Order Delivery.
October 5th: Field Trip to Farmland Adventures in Springdale. Bus will leave PH Campus at 8:45am. Parents may follow bus. Parents are free, siblings will be $6. Bring disposable lunch and a water bottle. We will arrive at PH Campus at 12:30pm.
October 12th: Homecoming Party 2:30 – 3:00pm
October 15th: Parent/Teacher Conferences - No school for students.
October 31st: School Picture Re-takes
