Click here June 2021 UpdateLambton Federation of AgricultureWelcome Lambton Ag Link Subscribers! 2021’s 'Ag Safety Day' will be a week-long virtual event running from July 1st until July 8th.All are welcome to participate, not limited to Lambton residents. A Trio of Lambton Agricultural Hall of Fame Inductees for 2021Dona Stewardson, Kevin Marriott and Sid Fraleigh became the newest members of the hall of fame during a virtual ceremony this past June 4th. The Hall of Fame honours those that have had a positive influence on agriculture and the rural community in Lambton County. Happy Anniversary to Locally LambtonIt's been 15 years since the first Locally Lambton map was produced/launched. The first map was launched at the Petrolia Farmers' Market June 2006, and with a barbeque at the Lions Hall park. In celebration of the 15th Anniversary, we have produced and printed some new Locally Lambton signs (24x16 inch) that can either be placed in a window, or on your lawn (wire frame is included).

If you need copies of the previously printed physical map to hand out, also let us know. We have lots available. You do not have to sign up for the website map in order to take them off our hands. 80th Anniversary ProjectWe have had multiple people come forward with photos, newspapers clippings, and letters to add to our online retrospective. If you have any content to share: newspaper clippings, photos, stories, or reports, please feel free to send them our way. Nominations are now open for the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards!Agribusiness is one of the categories up for consideration. Nominate today, the deadline is July 11 Have you been to the Starlite Drive-In in Grand Bend since they've reopened?The LFA has arranged for the showing of two of our videos during the introductions of the feature movies playing there.
