Planting day with South New Brighton School studentsThe Council's Parks team had another great session with the amazing students of South New Brighton School earlier this month. The students dug in to weeding, lupin control and mulching around this season's plants along the estuary pathway area behind the school. The plants seem to be holding on, however a few have not made it due to lack of rain. The class is now determined to water every week and have plans to bring a trolley down with buckets and milk bottles of water, from now until their school holidays start. Check out our website to find out more about Parks volunteering events.
