The Alice Springs strategic plan workshops attracted over 40 tourism operators and community members and generated constructive discussion and good insight into the direction and needs of the industry into the future. The next Eco Guiding training course will be held in the Top End in May. Conducted by Avana, the funded course aims at assisting people who wish to gain employment in the industry as well as updating the skills of those already employed in the industry.  The two week face to face component of the course commences 21 May.

The 2012 NT Muster has welcomed over 100 local travel agents in Sydney and more than 80 in Melbourne. The Travel Agents met with 32 Northern Territory operators during the annual roadshow.

 

2012 Brolga Awards – Save the Date

The 2012 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards will be held on Saturday 17 November 2012.  The Gala Event this year will be held in Darwin. Further details regarding entry into the awards and the gala event will be advised.
