We join small groups at church, sports clubs, health and fitness communities or our kids’ school PTA because we want to journey with others who share our similar passions and interests. We feel part of a bigger picture, and are inspired, encouraged and supported. So how can being part of the Kitchen Table Project help us as parents, as we join together with others who share a desire to build their children’s faith? Acts 2:42 Ideas this monthJoin the community! Resources Encourage prayer What parents are saying ReflectionWhen we launched the Kitchen Table Project, we wanted to create a community of mums, dads and carers who could come together with the mutual interest of finding ways of building their children’s faith. It’s so empowering to join with others who not only share your interests, but who can relate to the stage of life you are in, and we’re so pleased that you receive this email because you have chosen to be part of that community. Over the past 16 months so many parents, carers and church leaders have joined with us to start talking about how they can build their children’s faith. We’ve seen nearly 3,000 join our Facebook community, over 2,000 sign up for this monthly email and nearly 700 people download the small-group Inspire session. The feedback we’ve received shows that hearing real stories and ideas from other parents, either online or through meeting in small groups, has really encouraged people. And we want to see those numbers continue to grow. We want parents and carers all across the country to inspire one another as we disciple our children. So how can you help? Take a look at the suggestions above, and consider how you could encourage other parents you know to join together in this journey. Blessings Claire and the Kitchen Table Project team Please send us your stories of inspiring faith at home – good and bad – we know it’s a rollercoaster!
