Postdoctoral Research Associate - Molecular Microbiology and Immunology - Brown University - Providence, RI

The Laboratory of Christopher de Graffenried, PhD is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology. The minimum requirements for a successful candidate include a recent PhD degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Chemical Biology, or related fields. Candidates for this position should have a solid background in molecular biology, immunofluorescence microscopy, and protein biochemistry. Previous experience working with trypanosomes is not necessary. Experience with electron microscopy and/or proteomics would be helpful.

Advanced Application Scientist - Advanced Imaging Center (AIC) - Janelia Research Campus - Ashburn, VA

The application scientist will work hands-on in the laboratory with AIC users. S/he will be a primary source of applications knowledge and expertise for all AIC users, and will become expert in the operation and use of various AIC instruments, as well as processing and analysis of the resulting data.

Qualifications include a PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field, strong experience in advanced optical microscopy, and a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in biological sample preparation and imaging required. For more information, please view the job posting.
