Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall…there are four seasons, and we know them all! Thank you for helping your child with Show and Tell this week as we got to know each other better through the different fun activities that you like to do as families.

Next Week

Unit Study: Weather, describing different types of weather and all about the water cycle.
Show and Tell: Bring 100 things in a small bag (must be able to fit inside backpacks)
Bible: Christ’s life and ministry of how Jesus heals and helps
Bible Verse: “I have hidden your word in my heart so that I might not sin against You.” Psalm 119:11
Reading: Introduce compound words having two syllables (example: bath/tub, pig/pen, cat/fish), learn new sight words and review words we know, and continue guided readers.
Math: Reading, writing, and making numbers to 100

Discover Shiloh Dinner Event

Start telling your family and friends about our Discover Shiloh Dinner Event coming Tuesday evening, February 19th from 6:00 pm - 7: 30 pm! This is a great opportunity to learn about Shiloh, hear from our leadership, and visit with current students, families, and teachers. Important Dates

January 21 - No School - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
January 22 - 100th Day of School (if there are no snow days) Remember to dress your student like they are 100 years old and send their poster!
February 7 - SHILOH CONNECT for Shiloh families from 8-9 am followed by 1st Grade Little Dribblers & PH Jigglers at 9:15 am in SEC Gym at the Springdale Campus
February 14 - Valentine's Parties @ 2:30 (More information to come)
February 18 - No School - Presidents’ Day
February 19 - Discover Shiloh Dinner Event for prospective families from 6 - 7-30 pm in the Kids Theater
March 14 - Student-Led Conferences (more information to come)
