Get new notifications on your Modo app!

Let's be honest - life is busy and it's hard to keep on top of everything! Here at Modo we're always looking for ways to make your trips easier so we've created three new notifications on the Modo app to help you out!

Receive notifications:

  1. Remind you of an upcoming booking
  2. Let you know your booking is about to end
  3. Tell you whether or not your booking (that's about to end) can be extended

To benefit from these new features, you will need to turn your notifications on. Learn more about how to set up notifications in the app in our latest blog post.

ICBC Distracted Driving Campaign

Modo is happy to be once again supporting ICBC's Eyes Forward Campaign. Here are some ways you can avoid being a distracted driver. #EyesFwdBC

  • No call, text or email is so important it’s worth risking your life. Let calls go to voicemail and ignore your text messages while driving.
  • Turn it off and put it out of sight to avoid the temptation to check your phone.
  • Assign a designated texter. Ask your passengers to make or receive calls and texts for you.
  • Pull over to make or receive a call, when it’s safe to do so. For longer journeys, look for signs at highway rest areas, some of which now provide free Wi-Fi.
  • Choose to activate ‘Do Not Disturb While Driving’ feature, coming soon for iPhone users.

Pro-tip: Spring cleaning

It's been a long, cold, west coast winter but thankfully spring is just around the corner! Our fleet team does their best to make sure our vehicles are in top shape for you, but as a member-owned carsharing service, we rely on our members to leave the vehicles clean and tidy in order to maintain an enjoyable driving experience for everyone. Especially after a longer trip, the car might need some extra love and attention.

You can help us stay "spring clean" and earn free drive time at the same time! Read more on the blog.

Quick Poll

Hallelujah - spring is on its way! We know many of our members are green thumbs so we'd love to know more about how you use Modo to help you out this time of year.
