PH Kindergarten eNews

Wow! What a busy week as we learned sooo much about the Pilgrims. We learned why they came to America, what they experienced on their voyage on the Mayflower, the reasons why they needed the help of the Native Americans, and even saw what everyday life was like for them. We are so thankful for the providential work God did through them to bring the gospel to America.

Next Week

  • Unit Study - Thanksgiving
  • Show and Tell - Create an “I am thankful for…” poster sharing at least 3-5 things you are thankful for. Poster sizes can range from a normal 8.5x11 sheet of paper to a half-size poster board.
  • Verse - “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” - Psalm 100:5
  • Bible - Jonah
  • Reading - Names and sounds of digraph wh (as in whale) and letter Yy, guided readers, and sight words
  • Math - Counting from 1-100 by 1s and 10s, 80s number family, and two addition family facts (0+2, 1+2, 2+2…)

Parent Incentive Program

As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, we want the influence of Christ to grow as well. We need your help to introduce us to like-minded families that want to raise their children in a Christian environment. We want to partner with our current Shiloh parents so you can invite others to join the Shiloh family!

Shiloh parents will receive a $300 check in February 2020 for any student that completes the admission process, is accepted, begins attending, and their account is current as of February 15th. Please contact Alicia Brown at aliciab@shilohsaints.org with questions about admissions or the incentive program!
