How to meet the promotion expectations of career-driven millennials

The Works Search’s Annual Salary Guide 2017/18 found that 48% of millennials expect to be promoted on average every two years.  By comparison, Generation X expect to be promoted every three years, and Baby Boomers every four years on average.

This presents an interesting situation: the people most likely to be managing millennials – Generation X and Baby Boomers – will have a completely different view to the younger members on their teams with regards to the speed of promotion.

So how can Directors of Communications manage the heightened promotion expectations of the millennials in their teams? We take a closer look.
