We had a fun last week of February reading Dr. Seuss books.  We will spend our first full week of March studying about frogs.  Please note the calendar changes listed below.

• Unit Study:  We will study frogs this week.
• Show and Tell:  Students need to bring in a picture of a frog.
• Bible:  We are finishing up the life and ministry of Christ. We will be starting on Elijah.
• Bible Verse: Matthew 6: 11-12:  Give us today our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
• Reading:  We will continue practicing long and short vowels, sight words, and working in our reading groups.  We will also introduce special sounds “bl-” in block and “cl-” in clock. 
• Math:  We will be reviewing past concepts, adding with larger addends and decomposing numbers.

• March 7:  Spring Pictures (dress up or dress code)
• March 14:  Speech Meet for Easter Chapel
• March 15:  Student-Led Conferences
• March 16:  NO SCHOOL
• March 19-23:  NO SCHOOL- Spring Break
• March 29:   Easter Chapel at  8:30 am in Worship Center
• March 30:  NO SCHOOL- Good Friday
