Welcome

This month's ezine provides a useful overview of what's taking place in aquatics across the Swim England NE Region.  The edition includes information to help inform clubs regarding Coronavirus, details of the Region's AGM and the upcoming NE Region Swimming Championships.  It also reflects on the noticeable activities which have taken place recently, including a Regional Para-Swimming training session, the athletes selected for GB's U19 Water Polo Team and Water Polo players raising money for charity.  Well done to all those involved!  All club volunteers and members are asked to contribute to the Value of Swimming research which is currently being conducted by Swim England.  Clubs across the Humber area are also asked to complete a survey for Active Humber to help identify their needs.  Additional opportunities are available including roles in the Northumberland and Durham Team for the 2020 Swim England County Championships and a communications lead for Swim England Diving.  Finally, please take note of the new name for Synchronised Swimming!
